Sharps Jam - The Meaner Side of Needles

Please note new doors closing time: 8:30PM!

Sharps Jam! is a peer skill share and practice time for all things that go into the skin: needles, staples, hooks, scalpels, knives. Every second Tuesday of the month, the evening is hosted by Addy (@CuriousxTen) and Mariana (@kelpnoodles), who guide the group through learning, experimentation, and community sharps play.

We’ll begin with an opening circle to cover agreements, safety expectations, and logistics. From there, the hosts will lead a featured demo highlighting a specific sharps technique. After the demo, the dungeon will open for sharps labbing and scenes, with time set aside throughout the night for questions and discussion.

Whether you’re brand new to sharps and curious to observe, or an experienced player looking to refine skills and connect with the sharps community, this space is designed to welcome you. Attendees are welcome to come solo or with partners.

For our April skill share, we’ll demo sadistic needle techniques that focus on building sensation with intention, creativity, and just the right amount of mean. Expect an exploration of pacing, placement, anticipation, and ways to use needles to get delicious reactions from your bottoms.

Praxium will provide snacks, sharps containers, puppy pads, and gloves. Please bring your own sharps, skin prep, medical supplies, and any aftercare needs. If your scene will need a tarp, please bring one.

Doors open at 6:30PM and close at 8:30PM.

Event Rules

These events are not for cruising; please watch from a respectful distance and avoid commenting or intruding on other guest’s labbing experiences, including during aftercare. All Praxium Events are 18+.

About the Instructors

Addy (@CuriousxTen, she/her) is a long-time kinkster who discovered a love of sharps and blood play about 4 years ago and dove right in. She has taken numerous classes on sharps techniques and safety, and has participated in hundreds of sharps scenes. She really enjoys helping people learn new skills. You’ll often find her in a joyous scene laughing, stuck full of metal, and dripping blood.

Mariana (@kelpnoodles, she/her) is an active Bay Area kinkster with a shameless love for anything that pierces, pokes, or bleeds. She finds real joy in creating friendly, curiosity-driven spaces for people to learn and explore edge play together. Mariana plays on both sides of the needle: as a bottom who enjoys intensity and as a top fascinated by the creativity and precision of sharps.
