Spoiler alert: connection is personal. What creates connection varies from person to person, pair to pair, moment to moment. This workshop isn’t about learning our ‘formula’ - it’s about sharing frameworks that will empower you to define and pursue your own version(s) of presence, intention, and connection through rope. Through conversation, intention-setting, and focused exercises, we’ll explore ways to stay tuned into your partner and prioritize presence over perfection.

You’ll Learn:

– Ways to shift attention from the rope in your hands to the person you’re tying with

– Techniques for staying present while troubleshooting or flustered

– Our tricks for keeping practice time playful and human

This class is part of our Ground series, focused on foundational rope skills. You don’t need to know much, just how to tie a single column tie ( Why Knot). Loaner rope is available for use during class.

You Should Know:

– Open to all roles, identities, and experience levels

– Great for both new and experienced students looking to level up their approach

You Should Bring:

– A notebook or something to take notes on

– Questions about your current challenges in rope

– An open mind and willingness to reflect

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event (less transaction fees). Within 7 days, credit may be offered at the Studio’s discretion. No refunds or credit for no-shows.
