This class is a hands-on exploration of body manipulation: how to reposition, lift, roll, and interact with your partner’s body while maintaining connection, care, and control.

Whether you’re beginning a tie, setting up a transition, or trying to keep the scene in motion, understanding how to move a bound body safely and efficiently is essential. We’ll look at the physics behind body movement - how to leverage momentum, gravity, and your own limbs - to move your partner with confidence instead of relying on brute force or awkward improvisation.

You’ll Learn:

– How to use your hands, your body, and your rope to guide your partner

– Anatomy and physics to help you tie smarter, not shove harder

– Nora’s favorite trick: The Ankle Flip

This class is part of our Ground series, taught on the first Sunday and fourth Saturday of the month.

Ground classes focus on foundational rope skills - the things we practice the most. You don’t need much, just the ability to tie a single column tie and a willingness to learn. Loaner rope is available for use during class.

You Should Know:

– Open to all roles, identities, and experience levels

– Great for both new and experienced students looking to level up their approach

You Should Bring:

– A notebook or something to take notes on

– Questions about your current challenges in rope

– An open mind and willingness to reflect
