Shy-Bi-Babe, Getting In Touch With Touch

  • Hosted by Sanctuary PDX
  • Portland, OR -

Let’s get some SPARKS going with Shy-Bi-Babe, Getting In Touch With Touch workshop, edition!

Touch is so many different things to so many different people. This workshop gives us a chance to tune in more deeply with the experience so we can share with each other with grace, dignity and consent. Whether we are serving or receiving, taking or allowing, there is a role to play and a way to tap into our boundaries and pleasures for clarity in connection.

This workshop can also heat up and improve even the most experienced lover’s awareness of touch.

This event touches on some of the great work of Betty Martin. Look her up, you’ll be very glad you did (https://bettymartin.org/videos/)

We’ll use our time together to become more aware of what is happening when we are touching and being touched. We will learn how to communicate better about the touch we have to offer and the touch we really want to receive. Gaining clarity on what is for our own pleasure and what is for another’s pleasure (and practice on all sides of the equation) can help us deepen and sink into connection through touch. The activities practiced here apply to the sweet, sensual, nurturing touch we will be practicing, and also translate to steamy, sexy, and sexual touch in other settings.

$20 cash/$22 CC. Also gains entrance to the following event.

You are welcome to come to this workshop to be touched and to touch in just a few or lots and lots of consensual ways. We’ll be speaking up about our boundaries and letting others know when we need a break or are having a breakthrough with touch.

This event is for all cis and trans women attracted to fellow women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of women.

Workshop Facilitated by Karen Hery (Sex Positive World) and Tajsha Carlson of Sex Positive Portland.

Sanctuary is 21+, LGBTQ+, ADA, anti-racism, and celebrates diversity. Enter on Ninth.
