SIRENS: The Hoeregon Trail

SIRENS is BACK! You'll enjoy the same party shenanigans you know and love, but on a weeknight, and with an extra emphasis on social interaction & mingling. While there IS a play space, we ask that you keep genitals out of the equation - explore all of the infinite other sexy/flirty/friendly/playful ways you can connect with others!

The May 2026 SIRENS Theme is: The Hoeregon Trail!

Click Here For the Pinterest Board for Inspiration

Important Note about the Theme: This theme is inspired by the popular 90's computer game "The Oregon Trail" - a world of survival, unpredictability, and strange, often humorous hardship.

At the same time, the real Oregon Trail is rooted in a history of colonialism, displacement, and loss. It is essential to make this acknowledgment & distinction as we invite conscious, creative engagement with the theme—one that fosters reclamation and thoughtful exploration.

This might look like:

  • Campy or exaggerated interpretations of frontier life
  • Playful, even “slutty,” takes on frontier aesthetics
  • Satire, resistance, and reimagining who gets to exist in this story

(Further notes about the theme, below)

⚠️WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR (AND WHO ISN'T IT FOR): This event CENTERS THE NON-HETERONORMATIVE AND/OR NON-CIS EXPERIENCE.⚠️ If you are a cis woman who is not exploring her sexuality and/or gender, or a cis man who is not exploring his gender, our other events are a better fit for you. We will not police identity or deny entry in an exclusionary manner, as long as the intentions of the event are respected. Anyone - of any gender - who makes others uncomfortable may be spoken to and asked to leave. ⚠️

REQUIRED ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: It should go without saying, but we are going to spell it out clearly nonetheless: kink and intimacy activities are inherently risky. Safety requires practice and cannot be guaranteed. By attending, you agree to participate at your own risk, conduct your own risk management, and agree to hold the event facilitators and facility harmless for any type of physical or emotional harm that may occur.

A Party That Grows With Us

SIRENS is, and always will be, a party for the people, by the people.

Every event is shaped by our community's feedback, desires, and offerings.

Offer Your Magic

  • If you feel inspired, you’re welcome to offer something to the space, especially if it's on-theme - snacks, massage, performance, decorations, a creative element, etc.
  • When you purchase your ticket, you can email us and share what you have in mind. If it aligns with the theme and flow of the event, we may include it as an official feature and announce it to guests.
  • This is still a curated party, so we won’t be able to accept every offer. Please don’t take this personally - this is to keep the experience cohesive.
  • There’s absolutely no obligation to offer anything - we aren't expecting everybody to do so. If you feel particularly called to offer something - you'll feel it light you up. The purpose of giving should be self-expression and sharing without expectation - this is how we keep the SIRENS magic abundantly flowing & sustainable!

We'll make announcements about party updates as they happen! Stay tuned and follow the discussion on Discord!

The "Hoeregon Trail" - Cultural Respect & Expression

We encourage self-expression and exploration, while asking everyone to move with care and consideration. Please avoid:

  • Costumes that appropriate Native American cultures in stereotypical or disrespectful ways
  • (e.g., “Pocahontas”-style costumes, headdresses, or caricatures)
  • Non-Indigenous folks using Indigenous identity or sacred items as aesthetic or costume elements (In the same vein, we should not police how Indigenous folks choose to express themselves)
  • Some cultural symbols carry deep meaning and are not appropriate for casual use.
  • If you’re unsure, we encourage you to choose a different direction.

The Oregon Trail, both historically and in the game, includes themes of survival, scarcity, illness, and mortality. The game itself became known for blending these realities with humor and absurdity. Kink can also be a space where we explore intensity, taboo, and imagination—within a container of consent, communication, and care.

What We Welcome

  • Creative, immersive, or satirical scenes inspired by survival or frontier themes
  • Example: primal hunting or symbolic “cannibalism” play may be acceptable when:
  • All participants have explicitly consented
  • Boundaries and context are clearly discussed
  • A Guardian is aware or available if needed

What We Do Not Allow In This Container

  • Scenes involving racial dynamics or racialized power play
  • Content that replicates or targets real-world harm toward marginalized groups
  • Pressuring anyone to participate in activities without their enthusiastic, embodied, consent.

Personal Responsibility & Navigating Triggers

This space may include a wide range of expressions and scenes. You are always encouraged to exercise your personal agency, especially to:

  • Step away from a scene
  • Choose not to engage or observe
  • Adjust your level of exposure in real time
  • Seek support from a Guardian
  • Provide feedback

Guardians

Guardians will be present to support the space and those within it.

  • They are available for check-ins, questions, and support
  • They may intervene, pause, or redirect scenes if needed
  • We reserve the right to pull individuals aside for conversation during or after the event
  • There is a digital reporting system that sends information to our guardian team at any time during/after the event. You can report anonymously if you choose.

We invite you to:

  • Engage with curiosity and awareness
  • Allow room for imperfection and growth
  • Use creativity, satire, and embodiment to explore the theme in ways that feel both expressive and responsible

When we do this well, we create space not just for play, but for new perspectives, deeper conversations, and meaningful connection.

This party sets out on the trail May 11th, 2026. Will you be there?
