Salem Tuesday Munch presents: "Shibari 101 & Aesthetic Ties" w/ Rope Bound Kitten

Shibari 101 & Aesthetic Ties by @Ropeboundkitten

We heard you, Salem! You want rope? We got rope. Let’s level up your Shibari game. Everyone performs a different style of rope art, and we want to bring you as many artists and educational efforts as we can so you can explore rope ties and aesthetics.

Nikole aka @Ropeboundkitten, is a rope maker and artist out of Oregon. She prides her company on ethical sourcing and high-quality natural and organic fibers. Nikole has been making and teaching rope aesthetics and connection for about 5 years, focusing on individual expression and creative aesthetics and connection with yourself and your partners. A personal goal of hers is to create a safe space of learning and expression where all feel welcome.

In this workshop, we will cover Shibari. What is it? Where did it start? What ropes to use and why. She will cover safety 101, teach rope aesthetics, and will show you a bedroom rope tie that can easily be practiced during the munch.

@Ropeboundkitten will also be selling some of their beautifully unique rope! Check out her website HERE!
