Perhaps you've been interested in starting an event for a while. Or maybe hadn't personally considered starting an event, but there is something you've been wanting to see in your local community, and no one else has stepped up.
Let Miriam Green from Wicked Grounds help you! Over the past seventeen years, Wicked Grounds has worked with dozens of people and organizations to help them launch their own events and munches, and in our early life as a cafe we hosted literally thousands of munches over fourteen years. In addition to their work through Wicked Grounds, Miriam Green has personal experience launching several munches, discussion groups, and play labs.
This session is designed to help you talk through munch and event ideas and bring them to life -- including defining your group, logistics, creating engaging events, and social outreach.
Existing munch or discussion group leaders are also welcome to attend to troubleshoot challenges with their events.
