Erotic Dinner -Taboo table x Our Gourmet Life. March 6 & 7 - San Francisco
"Taboo table" Where dinner is served on the parts we’re taught not to name.
In a culture that sexualizes everything yet struggles to say the word “vulva,” Taboo Table pulls up a chair and starts the conversation.
An immersive experimental supper club, Taboo Table invites guest to dine from handcrafted ceramic vulva plates and other anatomical forms, served with an inventive molecular gastronomy tasting menu. Interdisciplinary artist Mylinh´s sculptural ceramics transforms the table into a living art installation, where artwork is not only observed, but intimately eaten from. It’s sensual without being gratuitous, provocative without being crude. The food created by Chef Kike Gallardo (Michelin guide) mirrors the theme: unexpected textures, dissolving forms, playful chemistry that keeps guests leaning in.
But the real centerpiece is dialogue.
Each gathering creates space to talk openly about anatomy, pleasure, shame, language, and the gaps in our sexual education. Guests laugh. They ask questions. They unlearn. The table becomes a place where curiosity replaces discomfort and honesty replaces whispering.
Taboo Table isn’t about pushing buttons for spectacle. It’s about normalization. About making room for conversations that should have never been considered taboo in the first place.
Come hungry. Leave a little freer.
