Tapping Into Your Desire: Embodied Breath, Movement and Touch to Explore Pathways to Pleasure [free for Plura+ Member]

This workshop is free for Plura+ Members (accessible via app)

WORKSHOP INFO:

Do you have the desire... for more desire?

Would you like a better understanding of how to tap into the spring of your innate passion?

Would you like to learn to be more picky, greedy and selfish (discerning) about the touch you receive?

Would you like to be a better listener / toucher / lover / receiver of feedback?

What lights you up? What makes you feel alive, and like you’re vibrating at your highest frequency?

How can you make these non-negotiables in your life, to be seeped in your Yes, as often as possible?

If you are interested in becoming more free and disinhibited, and more deeply familiar with the sexual / sensual parts of your identity, join us!

In this workshop, we will explore what turns your “pilot light” on, gets your desire body on board, and how to drop into alignment to find your authentic Yeses and Noes. This will ultimately reveal how YOU can have more control over these aspects of being in full expression of your dynamic self.

We will also be investigating boundaries, and consent and safety around sexuality, to allow you to be more fully available and communicative with your partner(s).

Tools will include full bodied breath, explorative movement, kundalini kriyas, engaging our fantasy minds, and other fun, interactive exercises. (All interaction is optional, of course.)

Ultimately, here is what you can expect:

- Discovering / exploring your desire

 - Reconnecting to your body and intuition

 - Integrating pleasure into your everyday life

 - Identifying / embracing boundaries

 - Releasing shame and old patterns

 - Creating new thoughts / behaviors / energy

Note: This class is held online and will be recorded and available for 7 days after the event for all ticket holders.

ABOUT AMANDA EDWARDS:

I am a somatic sex and intimacy coach. I'm a Mom; I'm a Sister and Daughter and Auntie; I'm a Cousin and a Niece and a Friend; an Activist and a Feminist; a Dancer; an Artist; an Empath; I'm a Speaker and a Listener; a Reader; a Lover of Music and Singing; a Believer in the Power of our Open Hearts; a Lifelong Learner; I am someone who is still Exploring my own Agency; someone who wants to bring Light to the Darkness, while valuing the Magic of the Moonlight.

This work has truly changed the way I think and feel about myself! I am more free to explore and be empowered in my desire, playfulness, triggers, and boundaries. It has improved the way I communicate with people in my life; in intimate relationships, as well as with everyone from my family to my co-workers. Most significantly for me, actively participating in this work has changed the way I show up for myself, for those around me, and how I carry myself through the world. My goals include to demystify, deshamify, and abolish judgement around sex & intimacy topics, and to do so in a way that all participants feel as safe and held as possible.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring years of therapeutic experience to create a multidisciplinary approach. I've completed the Somatica Institute Core Training program on Sex, Intimacy, and Relationship Coaching, the Couples Training and the Advanced Training, and have assisted in teaching the training since 2020. I also completed a ketamine assisted therapy program with the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI) in Colorado and have a thriving psychedelic therapy practice. As a social worker for the last 20 years, I've worked in fields including domestic violence, sexual assault, addiction, family & children's services, and hospice.

I have also been a dancer since I was a child, and continue to use dance and other art forms to connect to my heart and intuition, and return home to my body.
