Taste That! a tasting party for everyone

Taste That!

a tasting party for everyone

Whether you're new to BDSM, experienced and looking to try new things, or just out for a bit of fun, you'll find plenty of opportunities at this party. A tasting is an introduction to a new sort of play - a few minutes with an experienced Top who'll give you a taste of what they have to offer.

Taste That! is focused on presenting multiple different things for you to try (this is an outline, check back to see updates):

  • Rope
  • Violet Wand
  • Wax Play
  • TENS Unit
  • Mummification
  • Floggers
  • Sensation Play
  • Canes - rattan and other
  • Crops
  • Vacuum Cupping
  • Whips
  • Paddles
  • Clips & Clamps

Sign-up sheets will be posted at each tasting station to assure everyone gets a turn.

Observers are also welcome (keep a 6-foot perimeter, be respectful, no whacking while watching), and there will also be room for open play in the dungeon.

Bring Proof of COVID Vaccination

Catalyst is delighted to partner with Bloom Community, a queer-positive social, dating, and community app that arrived in Portland this month. Bloom Community helps connect people to events and others seeking connection with those who share their community values. What are those values? Consent, Communication, and Respect. You can download the Bloom app (iOS/Android) and follow Catalyst to see upcoming events on it. You can also chat 1:1 with others in the community.

Catalyst is a sex-positive, gender-affirming, IAA+ safe space. Please respect the pronouns and gender identities of others. The space is wheelchair-accessible and ADA-compliant.

The entrance is off the alley behind the 7-11 and through the ornate green security gate. If there is no gate attendant, ring the bell to the left of the gate.
