Join us for an interactive series of vocal sound-improv games, where collaboration, creativity, and experimentation take center stage.
This is a series of vocal sound-improv games and exercises. You get to make sounds, using your voice, with other people. Sometimes you’ll be running around, sometimes you’ll be still.
It’s kind of about collaboration, kind of about fighting, kind of about play, kind of about beauty, kind of not about anything.
Misha usually does a mix of tried-and-true exercises he’s done before, along with some experiments with the group to develop new ideas. Every time he does this it’s different, but you can get a bit of a sense of what past events have been like from a couple of videos you can find on Vimeo and Youtube. Or you can read an article.
Misha also writes a lot about these games in his book The Chairs Are Where The People Go.
