In this live webinar, relationship coach and scholar Dr. Marie Thouin will address these questions and much more, based on her research and new book, 'What is Compersion? Understanding Positive Empathy in Consensually Non-Monogamous Relationships.'

Marie will discuss her "compersion roadmap", which will help every attendee understand what promotes and hinders compersion for them. She will also demystify some of the main myths you might have heard around compersion, and tackle some controversial questions regarding the topic.

Worry not: her compassionate and humanizing perspective will normalize "not always feeling compersion" and remove shame and blame from the equation (hint: you're not a "bad poly person" if you're not experiencing compersion!)

Marie Thouin, PhD is the author of "What is Compersion? Understanding Positive Empathy in Consensually Non-Monogamous Relationships," the first-ever comprehensive scholarly book on compersion. She has been featured in several publications and podcasts, including ELLE, the Savage Lovecast, The Times of London, and HuffPost. Marie has also published seminal research studies, the first encyclopedia entry on compersion, and is the creator of www.WhatIsCompersion.com, a popular website that features her research, blogs, and resources on the topic of compersion. She is the Founder of Love InSight, a Mindful Dating & Relationship Coaching practice where she supports and guides people of all backgrounds and relational orientations to create intentional and vibrant love lives.
