The Art of Impact: Touch That Leaves a Mark – A Body-Based Impact & Sensation Workshop

🕢 Workshop: 7:30–9:30 PM

🕤 Guided Jam: 9:45–11:45 PM (Practice & Free Play)

📝 Note: This workshop explores body-based impact and sensation play. It is educational and experiential, not sexual or hookup-oriented. No prior impact experience is necessary.

What if your body was the only tool you needed?

Touch That Leaves a Mark invites you to explore the full power and presence of your body as the source of impact. Through hands-on drills, guided exercises, and partner practice, you'll learn how to strike with different parts of the body—palms, fists, forearms, thighs, knees, feet—and use them not only to create force, but to offer sensation, dominance, intimacy, and control.

This class is about contact, rhythm, trust, and embodied expression. From stingy slaps to deep, grounding thuds—every strike is a conversation. Every touch is a message.

Meet your facilitator:

🔥 Rorpheus – Rope ritualist, Pro Dom, kink educator, and primal movement coach, Rorpheus brings over a decade of experience in martial arts, body-based play, and consent-centered education. As a certified CPR & First Aid instructor, they weave trauma-aware safety and embodied connection into every class. Their approach blends technique, creativity, and embodied awareness—inviting students to experience impact as more than sensation, but as a dialogue of trust, presence, and personal expression.

💫 What You’ll Experience:

🥊 Full-Body Striking Techniques: Learn how to use hands, fists, forearms, elbows, thighs, knees, and feet to deliver intentional, safe impact.

🌬️ Body-Based Sensation Play: Explore non-striking techniques such as pressure, drags, breath play, skin contact, and presence to create tension, pleasure, and emotional connection.

📍 Anatomy & Impact Zones: Understand where to strike, how to modulate force, and how to adapt to different bodies with care and clarity.

🧠 Co-Regulation & Consent: Practice clear verbal and nonverbal check-ins, read somatic cues, and hold space for your partner’s embodied yes.

🌀 Guided Jam: Stay after the class to integrate your learning in a supportive open space. Practice, play, observe, or co-create with fellow participants at your own pace.

⚠️ Disclaimer & Safety Statement

This workshop involves physical contact and full-body impact techniques. As with all kink and movement-based activities, there are inherent risks, which may include:

  1. Bruising, welts, or skin sensitivity
  2. Muscle or joint soreness
  3. Accidental impact to sensitive or high-risk areas

At The Art of Impact, we prioritize consent, care, and communication above all else. Everything practiced is grounded in an embodied yes—not just verbal consent, but a full-body readiness, clarity, and attunement between all participants.

To help lower the risk of harm and create a safe learning environment, we implement the following:

🔹 Anatomy & Safety Education: You'll learn what areas are safe to strike, what to avoid, and why.

🔹 Gradual Progression & Warm-Up: We start slow and build intensity with intention.

🔹 Technique Coaching: Clear demonstrations and hands-on guidance to support proper form, pacing, and rhythm.

🔹 Consent & Co-Regulation: We practice real-time communication, safeword systems, and body-check cues to help you tune into your partner’s comfort and your own.

🔹 Trauma-Aware & First Aid Informed: With a certified CPR & First Aid instructor leading, a first aid kit will be on-site.

🔹 Aftercare & Integration: Time and space for physical and emotional decompression is built into the container.

Your participation is entirely voluntary. You are always encouraged to speak up, step out, or pause at any moment. No activity will be performed without a clear, mutual, and embodied yes.
