The Batterie’s Monthly May Class-Intro into Hypnokink and Trance Lab

Details: We were lucky to be able to to partner with Sacremento's premere dungeon, The Batterie's to teach our Intro and Trance Lab.

Class Description: The Batterie’s May Class is being taught by hypnokink leaders from the bayarea. Their class is a 2 hour class that aims to equip begginers with teh basic skills and knowledge you need to start safely exploring erotic hypnosis on your own. We will use a mix of lettuce, demonstrations, and hands-on practice to ensure that students leave with a solid foundation in Erotic Hypnoisis.

**Who is the Intended Audience?**The Erotic Hypnosis Practice Lab is for anyone that wants to learn and practice the basics of erotic hypnosis. We welcome those who have never experienced hypnosis, those who have played but want to learn the fundamentals, those who have only recently heard about hypnosis, and anyone who wants to practice basic trance skills in a contained environment.We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone can feel comfortable learning and growing. About the Presenters:

MindTop (aka Cabel, he/him), has been teaching hypnosis on and off (mostly) in the Bay Area for almost a decade now. He is attracted to con-non-con, memory play, and coercion. During his free time, you can find him playing board games, learning to cook, and exploring the city.

Resonate (she/her) was introduced to hypnokink in 2017 and immediately realized she'd been doing it her whole life. She is a hypno-switch who tends toward artistic, weird, challenging, and joyful play, with a special interest in power exchange between players of equal status.

What to expect during the 'lecture' portion of the class: During this workshop we will cover the following topics: overview of hypnosis, the importance of consent, anatomy of a scene, and managing risks.

What to expect during the hands-on practice portion: Much of the workshop is dedicated to hands-on practice. For practice, we divide the class into groups of 3. One person will be the hypnotist, one will be the subject, and the third will observe. We’ll run the exercise 3 times so that each person experiences all 3 roles. You can always opt out of any exercise at any time - we accept and expect nothing less than enthusiastic consent.

Once you complete the form linked about you will need to have your age verified by a staff person.
