The Knot Spot returns with a fresh format that blends performance and community. Each month kicks off with a featured rope showcase—an immersive performance exploring the art, energy, and storytelling of rope. After the show, the space transforms into an open jam and skill share where you can explore your own rope practice at your own pace.

Performed by: Rorpheus, Indigo, Thomas, and Nick

A dynamic fusion of connection, balance, and creative rope movement.

💫 What to Expect:

🪢 7:00–8:00 PM – Rope Showcase

1. Opening remarks from Rorpheus
2. Performer intros + intention sharing
3. Live rope performance
4. Closing appreciation + where to follow the performers

🧶 8:00–11:00 PM – Rope Share & Community Jam

1. Suspension-friendly jam space with hard points available
2. Hands-on tying, learning, or spectating—your pace, your flow
3. Rorpheus (@itmerorpheus) will be present to offer support and guidance

🎟️ Want to get tied or work with a performer?

1. Attendees can book short session time with a featured performer during the jam at a discounted pro rate. Prices vary by performer and will be shared on site.

1. Showcase Only: $25 (7:00–8:00 PM)
2. Rope Share Only: $35 (8:00–11:00 PM)
3. Full Night Access: $60 (7:00–11:00 PM)

⚠️ Consent & Risk Acknowledgment

Rope play carries inherent physical, emotional, and psychological risks. These may include—but are not limited to—nerve compression, circulation issues, joint strain, emotional triggering, and falls due to failed suspension systems.

At The Knot Spot, we take the following steps to reduce these risks:

1. Hard point checks are performed prior to opening the space
2. Scissors and safety tools are readily available and visible at all times
3. Facilitators are present to assist, answer questions, and ensure safer practices
4. Attendees must demonstrate competence before using suspension points or work with experienced partners
5. Consent culture is upheld through check-ins, boundaries, and mutual respect
6. Decompression space is available for those needing to emotionally regulate or step back

By attending, you agree to:

1. Take personal responsibility for your safety and participation
2. Only tie or be tied within your current experience level
3. Respect others’ boundaries, bodies, and negotiations
4. Hold the hosts, facilitators, performers, and venue harmless for any harm that may occur
