The Ritual: Shibari, Tea & Connection

About the Event

Step into a sacred space of sensuality, trust, and artistry with The Ritual: Shibari, Tea & Connection, an introductory workshop led by Benjamin Gundersen. This evening is designed to gently guide new practitioners into the beautiful, mindful practice of shibari — the traditional Japanese art of rope bondage.

Whether you are curious about the ropes or already have experience in floor tying or suspension, this workshop offers something for everyone. Beginners will receive thoughtful, clear instruction to safely explore the foundational techniques of shibari, while experienced participants will find open space to deepen their practice and connect with others through the ropes.

The event is set in a warm, intimate atmosphere, enhanced by soothing soundscapes and the calming ritual of tea, creating a supportive environment where connection and presence can flourish.
