The Sacred Gathering & Seeds of Resilience

Join us on May 17th for a day of healing, joy, and profound community connection at the Sacred Gathering, hosted by the incredible Dr. Roger Kuhn.

This annual gathering is organized by Wombat Mental Health Services in collaboration with The Queer Mercado, and it’s so much more than an event—it’s a space for transformation, visibility, and collective celebration.

The joint Seeds of Resilience Workshop is rooted in the Wellness Outreach Project for American Indian–Alaska Native Communities, with a focus on reducing stigma, honoring cultural strength, and increasing access to mental health support. Together, we’ll hold space to explore the unique challenges AI/AN communities face, while uplifting stories of survival, healing, and joy. Through movement, conversation, and creative practice, participants will connect with wellness tools that feel familiar, not foreign—grounded in tradition, identity, and collective resilience. This workshop aims to break down barriers, normalize conversations around mental health, and plant the seeds for long-term, community-centered healing.
