Join Nix the Sirenatrix for a transformative workshop that dives into the art of creating kink scenes set to music. Designed for Dom(me)s, subs, and switches—whether you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran—this workshop will deepen your understanding of how to use music intentionally in scene crafting, enhancing your skills and play experiences alike.

💫 Topics Covered:

  • 🎼 Power Dynamics & Flow: Learn how to control the flow of attention and maintain connection in a scene. Discover how to make the connection with your partner primary, with music as a backdrop to deepen the experience.
  • 🧩 Song Selection for Mood: Choose music that enhances mood without overpowering the connection between partners.
  • 🎶 Incorporating Rhythm & Movement: Explore ways to include rhythm in your scene, beyond just impact play—think body movements and other dynamic expressions.
  • 💥 Implements & Hands-on Techniques: While implements can add to the rhythm, remember that using just your hands and body is more than enough!

We are having a 2-part evening of indulgence and learning. Come for the workshop and stay for the Jam to practice what you learned and meet other like-minded folks!

Workshop Format:

  • Discussion and Practical Exercises: The workshop will include a mix of discussions and hands-on exercises. You'll have the chance to interact with others, practice communication techniques, and receive feedback.
  • Solo and Group Work: You can come alone or with a partner. During the exercises, you'll have the opportunity to switch partners, which allows for practicing with familiar partners and new acquaintances. This helps simulate both established dynamics and pickup scene scenarios.
  • Dress Code and Interactions: Feel free to dress however you want, whether vanilla or ready to practice. Expect to interact with others for the exercises, at least in terms of communication and light D/s. More physical practice will be saved for the jam afterwards. We do not pair people up, and encourage guests to make friends and engage to their level of comfort ensuring that all are able to learn and grow. Couples can stay paired the whole time or practice with others if you so choose.
  • This workshop is open to all gender identifications, sexual orientations, lifestyles, singles and couples. All experience levels welcome. 18+.
  • Refunds must be requested 7 days prior to the event.
  • Doors open at 7:30pm and closes at 7:40 pm. Please be on time and text ahead if you are delayed.

  • We encourage all to engage chat via Plura before/after the event!

Jam After the Workshop:

Stick around for our jam session. This is your chance to put what you’ve learned into action, trying out your new skills on dungeon furniture in a supportive setting. The lights go down, the music goes up, and playtime begins! Nix will be available for feedback, scenes, or additional guidance to solidify the workshop’s learning in a hands-on, playful environment. Participate at your own comfort level - whether that means observing, chatting, or playing with others.
