You make up a title for a musical. You yell it out from the crowd. The stage goes dark, then smokey green, as a bowed upright bass beckons a twinkling piano and hypnotic drums. You tap your toes. A woman glides onstage from a world fit for Broadway. Then an ensemble joins her, singing and dancing in harmony with the live band and lighting technician, every player locked in to create one seamless jaw-dropping theatrical spectacle. Over the next hour, they weave one emotional tale that dares you to laugh, to cry, to contemplate... to sing from your seat. You can't believe none of it's scripted. You're a kid again. Magic is real. After the show, you shake off your goosebumps by hugging the cast and crowd at the on-site afterparty, gobbling up drinks and burgers. A little voice in your head whispers "Life's not so bad after all".
