The air is thick with anticipation, and the vibrant buzz of Leather Pride Week reaches its crescendo. The iconic Folsom Street Fair is just around the corner, and there's no better way to kick off this celebration than with an electrifying night at Threshold.
Join us for an unforgettable night as we kick off Leather Pride Week with Threshold Folsom Friday! It's not just an event; it's an experience that invites you to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of leather and kink culture. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado or a curious newcomer, this night promises to be unforgettable.Get ready to celebrate the spirit of the Folsom Street Fair with style, pride, and flair.
Threshold is Mission Control's kinkiest party. It's a place to unleash your dominant side, go deep into submission, explore restraints, role-play, and experiment with kinky toys. Whether you're a BDSM-curious newbie or a veteran with a toy bag who knows how to play, Threshold is a great place for exploration and kinky play. Our community gathers every other month at Mission Control, where Allies (our dues paying members) play for free.
We start each event with a playshop or demonstration where iconic fetish personalities come to share their knowledge with us. If the topic of the playshop doesn't tickle your fancy, don't worry, you can arrive after it ends and just enjoy the party. Each event brings a new focus which guests can then explore in our Fun-geon upstairs… and we are expanding the fun into the gazebo and creating a whole new Fun-geon space!
Threshold is the place where our community explores the deeply erotic world of BDSM and Dark Tantra. Pleasure and pain. Intense sensations. Power play. As with all Mission Control events, Threshold is built on a foundation of consent and responsible play.
Threshold is an all inclusive gender space. Any individuals who identifies as a woman, female, man, male, genderqueer, gender fluid, trans masculine, trans feminine, transgender and others with identities beyond the binary sex or gender spectrum are welcome, including all sexualities, sexual orientations, and sexual expressions.
We want to capture the attention of our playmates and take them on a journey, but how do we begin? What do we even say? How do we help them let go? In this class we will explore the elements that go into building a connected scene. We will start where all scenes should, with a discussion about finding your limits as both top and bottom. We will then cover a few different ways to help both players drop into their roles. Once you are both in the headspace for play, the real fun begins. Building peaks and valleys, intensity and release; these are all wonderful ways to ride the waves of a scene together. At the end we will discuss the importance of aftercare and how to settle back into your skin in the softest way possible.
Over my years as a lifestyle domme and now for my last 3 years as a professional, I have collected a variety of tools to give someone a pleasurable experience. I have also listened to the concerns of people on both ends of the dynamic in play. My hope is this class will help folks on the receiving end have a better understanding of how to ask for what they want and for the givers to have more confidence in their ability to lead the scene from start to finish.
