Threshold: Year of the Doors
Where we cross together
New Year’s Eve is a threshold, a moment between what was and what’s next. A doorway in time where we pause, breathe, and choose how we step forward.
Threshold: Year of the Doors is an invitation to cross together. Into music, warmth, connection, and possibility. This night is shaped by dancing bodies, open hearts, and intentional play, held with consent, care, curiosity, and celebration.
As the night unfolds, remember:
the door opens when you remember who you are.
Not all doors are marked.
Not all crossings look the same.
Choose what feels true, and move at your own pace.
Inside, you’ll find a 6,000 square foot playground spread across two floors, designed for movement, exploration, and connection. Upstairs hosts a full bar and main dance floor powered by an incredible Threshold community DJ lineup, featuring beloved local selectors alongside special guest DJs flying in from out of state for this night.
The sound is a big part of the magic. Club Six is powered by the legendary EAW Avalon DC1 sound system acquired from Ruby Skye, one of San Francisco’s most iconic dance clubs. Built for big-room electronic music, it delivers a deep and immersive dancefloor experience. It has carried performances by world-class artists including Above & Beyond, John Digweed, Kaskade, Mark Farina, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, and Tiësto; and now it sets the tone for crossing into 2026 together.
For those who acquired the "Threshold Key", downstairs a private basement party unfolds. An artsy, immersive dungeon-style play space held with intention, creativity, and care. Guests who wish to cross the threshold into the private dungeon floor are encouraged to bring a change of clothes if desired. Participation is always voluntary. This is a play-possible but not play-focused event, with space to observe, connect, explore, or simply exist within the environment at your own comfort level. Because that’s just how we do things.
The venue includes three bars, numerous bathrooms, coat check, bottle service, a photobooth, a whorey hole (basement only), immersive art installations throughout, and room to drift between high-energy dance floors and intimate connection. Come to dance. Come to connect. Come to explore. Come simply to be with people you trust as the year turns, surrounded by your favorite Threshold community.
Dress with intention.
[Keys. Locks. Chains. Doors. Keyholes]
Come dressed as what you opened this year,
what finally closed,
what you broke free from
or what you’re ready to unlock next.
Formal or feral.
Polish or chaos.
Glam, glitter, shine, and statement aDOORnments welcome.
Keys, hardware, shimmer, sparkle, sensuality, elegance, art.
Go subtle or go all out.
We will welcome the new year not with a countdown alone, but with presence. Together.
One door closing. Many doors opening.
