Timisms

“Timism”, our latest and most reflective group exhibition. This deeply personal and powerful theme was brought to us by the brilliant Jamie Risch, who envisioned an exploration of our relationship with time — whether it feels lost, fleeting, or infinite.

“Timism” invites us to look inward and outward:

Time is both constant and mysterious — it shapes us, stretches us, and slips through our fingers. It brings both comfort and chaos, marking growth, decay, nostalgia, and possibility. As artists, our connection to time is especially profound: it informs the way we create, the stories we tell, and the meaning we draw from the world around us.

From Dalí’s melting clocks to our own quiet reflections, time has always been our muse, our tormentor, and our measure. This exhibition is a celebration of that bond — and of this very moment in time we’ve shared together.

Which makes this announcement bittersweet:

After this show, we will be taking a hiatus and temporarily closing Echo Park Art. We’re packing up the space and taking time to rest, reflect, and plan for what’s next.

But before we go, we want to go out with one BIG and unforgettable night — and we want you there with us.
