To The Pain: The Science of Sensation

Wish rope hurt more? Wish it hurt way less? Let’s talk about pain—on purpose.

In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll dive into the fascinating science behind sensation: what it is, how our brains and bodies process it, and how we can play with it more intentionally. We’ll explore ways to amplify or dampen intensity, identify red flags, and build up our tolerance for rope and other forms of kink play.

This class is part lab, part lecture, and all about feeling more in control of how you experience pain and sensation in scenes.

You’ll Learn:

✅ What pain is, and how the body processes it

✅ How to mitigate risk when engaging with high-intensity sensation

✅ Tools and techniques for expanding (or reducing!) your tolerance

✅ Solo and partnered exercises to help you understand your limits and push them with care

You Should Know:

  1. This workshop is open to all identities and experience levels
