Come join us at HPPDG to explore how trauma bonding can impact polyamorous relationships in a safe and supportive space!
The Houston Polyamory Peer Discussion Group is Houston's only education-focused discussion group, dedicated to exploring the world of consensual, ethical non-monogamy. Whether you are new to polyamory or have been practicing it for years, we hope you’ll join us at one of our weekly meetings!
Every week features a different discussion topic, selected by our facilitators with input from our members. Certain special topics, like “Poly Holidays” or “Poly & Pride” will be scheduled during their respective seasons. The second Monday of each month is Poly 101, a crash course in polyamory with a Bring Your Own Topic discussion afterwards.
Join us for a peer discussion group about Trauma Bonding & Polyamory.
Located in the Montrose Center, Room 112/113. First floor, down the hall and to the right from the entrance.
Some questions we might talk about:
- How does trauma bonding present in polyamorous relationships?
- Can your partners help you escape the cycle of abuse?
- Does having strong meta relationships help you confront your fears?
- How can you set healthy boundaries with metas and others in community?
Let's figure it out!
