We’re continuing our monthly happy hour to connect with other folks who are (or want to be) practising ethical non-monogamy (ENM) here in Vancouver, BC.
Feel free to bring stories, games, friends/lovers/partners/etc., or just your charming selves.
This event is regularly scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of each month, but this month it's on the 4th Thursday!
There will be a reservation under the name of Mark. If we have fair weather, we will likely be seated on the rooftop patio.
We’ll have some convo prompts to kick off the evening, and the host will stay until ~9:30 pm (but feel free to hang for as long as you want). All experience levels and forms of ENM are welcome. See you there, and spread the word! <3
*NEW* RSVP:
If folks that will be attending could confirm a week prior to the event by updating their RSVP to "Going", that would be awesome! This helps us sort out seating and space for reservations or changes in venue when needed. If your availability changes closer to the date, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks!
Host Info:
- Mark (he/him) is a queer, 2nd generation immigrant hailing from Vancouver, BC and a member of the solo polyamory and relationship anarchy communities.
- Tyler (they/them) is nonbinary and neurodivergent, a settler born-and-raised here in "Vancouver", and also ethically non-monogamous.
Accessibility Info:
- Alt text for event image: photo is unrelated to event; a racially diverse group of femme-presenting people are walking down what appears to be a city street; there is a brownstone rowhouse in the background. The group is talking animatedly and a couple of people are laughing.
- The event venue serves alcohol; non-alcoholic options and food are also available.
- There is good navigability and spacing between chairs and tables for walkers, canes, and wheelchairs.
- This tends to be a quiet day for this venue, but there are occasionally larger groups or events happening at the same time as this event. The space can sometimes get noisy, but should be accessible for hearing loss in the severe-moderate range (one of the previous hosts uses a hearing aid and a cochlear implant).
- Depending on the weather, the number of people, and/or how loud it is downstairs we sometimes go to the rooftop patio, which is up a set of ~15 stairs. There is no elevator that we are aware of, but we try to take accessibility needs into account.
