A Skill-Building Class + Temple Party Evening

We begin the evening with Oral Pleasure Grad School, a playful, educational, confidence-building experience led by sex and relationship educator Reid Mihalko of ReidAboutSex.com, alongside Monique Darling.

This opening class is designed to normalize conversation, build shared language, and strengthen skills around giving and receiving oral pleasure with presence, curiosity, and care. Whether you’re newer to oral pleasure or ready to refine what you already know, this class offers practical tools you can immediately use.

This portion of the evening focuses on basics done brilliantly, including:

• Understanding pleasure anatomy and how arousal actually works

• How to slow down and read responses instead of guessing

• Communication tools that make pleasure collaborative and ease performance pressure

• Using your mouth, lips, tongue, breath, hands, and body together rather than in isolation

• Positions and ergonomics that increase comfort, sensation, and stamina

• Common myths about oral pleasure and what actually creates satisfaction

• How to give pleasure with confidence, curiosity, and consent at the center

LIVE demonstrations, humor, and plenty of space for questions make this an engaging, shame-reducing learning environment. This shared foundation helps everyone arrive at the Temple Party feeling more relaxed, informed, and attuned.

THE TEMPLE PARTY EXPERIENCE

After the class, we transition into a Temple Party, an experiential gathering for the sensually curious and adventurous that warmly welcomes all genders, bodies, and orientations.

This is an invitation to explore connection in a grounded, feeling-full environment that balances electricity with ease. The space is designed to feel expansive yet safe, playful yet respectful.

Monique and Reid guide the group through a Welcome Circle, where strangers arrive together, share agreements, name boundaries, and slowly land on the same page. This helps create a room where people can be seen, heard, and understood before any exploration begins.

WHAT DOES “TEMPLE PARTY” MEAN?

In short, it means whatever it means to you.

We use the word sacred to describe experiences that slow us down and deepen our sense of being alive. Sensuality and sxxuality are expressions of vital life force and creativity. They can be explored in many ways, including simply being present in a room of open-hearted humans.

Participation with a capital “P” includes everything from observing to engaging. Voyeurs are as welcome as those who wish to interact. There is no pressure to do anything at any time.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This is the party to attend if you’ve never been to one before,

and just as much if you’re curious about how truly consent-centered, well-facilitated sensual spaces are created.

We ask that you come with a warm, caring, non-judgmental attitude and a commitment to kindness and integrity.

• Doors open at 7:00 PM and close promptly at 7:30 PM

• Opening circle is required for entry

• Closing circle at midnight

• No drugs or alcohol please

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS

Reid Mihalko, sxx and relationship geek, helps adults and college students create more self-esteem, self-confidence and greater health in their relationships and sex lives using an inspiring mixture of humor, keen insight, and comprehensive, pleasure-focused sxxual health information.

Reid frequently speaks at colleges and universities on healthy relationship skills, and regularly appears in the media sharing his views on shame-free sxxuality. In 2018, Reid began a restorative justice-based accountability process, stepping down from teaching, to address sxxual misconduct and harms from 2010 that had been courageously shared as a result of #MeToo.
