CHANGE OF VENUE TRANSITION

I've made the decision to move this long-running event to the Victorian Tavern. Last month the feedback I received was quite positive. Let's give it a try for a while.

Three points:

1. There are members of our community who don't follow society's rules for appearance/dress. They feel safer at Paddy's, where all manner of appearance/dress are happily accepted and welcome. This is a factor, especially because of the way marginalized groups are presently being targeted in our country. I am sensitive to this, I hear you. I wish we lived in a world where this wasn't a concern. What I can offer is that I have your back and will look out for you, and know that there are many in our community who feel the same and have also volunteered.
2. The Tavern has a large wave of younger people who arrive at 11pm on Friday nights. Enough so that a line forms outside because it gets pretty crowded. I'm changing the (arbitrary) end time of this event to 11PM, as that's when the energy shifts and the music gets loud. Of course, everyone can choose their own departure time!
3. I would welcome the creation of a Paddy's slosh on the 2nd Friday of the month, which I believe is event-free. Not willing to host it, but encourage any interested parties to contact me with all questions about what's involved. Would love to have another slosh in Ventura, and continue to support Paddy's and their wonderful acceptance of all lifestyles!

Welcome to The Tavern!!

This slosh is a popular, long-running event that serves as a great introduction to the local kink community.

Are you a Newbie to the kink world? Looking for like-minded people?? This is a great event to attend. We welcome locals as well as folx just passing through in their travels.

Is this your first munch, or first time at our slosh? We offer a newcomer service to meet you before the munch, and introduce you around as folx arrive. Send a DM to the host, Ruby Ryder on Fetlife, or message us here!

We congregate on the outside patio in back. There's plenty of parking, and plenty of spaces to spend your time if outdoors is not your style. You can find your kinky group here the 3rd Fridays of every month!

Cost: Just the price of your food/drinks (they also have non-alcoholic options). Please do patronize the venue!

Dress Code: As casual or sexy as you like, but street legal, and remember, it's outside!
