Wicked Grounds Play Lab: Bite Club!

Play Lab is a kinky skill share, come indulge in your passions or learn something new!

Join us for this community-forward collaborative space where we tackle a different topic each month.

This month's topic: Bite Club!

A Primal Play Immersive Experience

Hosted by Lady V

Bring your favorite gear, tools and toys if you have them. If you don't have a thing or are just starting out, bring an open mind and a willingness to soak it all in.

We welcome those of all experience levels! Curious newbies and seasoned kinksters alike can come together to build knowledge and practice in a casual setting. Think less of a play party, more of a kinky salon to collaborate and grow. To keep things open to folks at all experience levels, this space will be both sex positive and sex free.

Our hosts and space monitors will be present to provide assistance and create a safer container for us to play and explore. (If you are an experienced kink practitioner interested in volunteering 30 minutes between 7:30 PM and 10:00 PM as a space monitor for free entry, contact nick@wickedgrounds.com for vetting.)

Here's a look at our schedule:

  • 7:30: Doors open
  • 8:00: Host presentation
  • 8:15: DOORS CLOSE (Please pre-plan for transport and parking, see below for more info)
  • 8:15 - 8:30: Review of rules and guidelines, toys and gear show-and-tell
  • 8:30-9: Group negotiation
  • 9 - 11: Conversation, mingling, moshing, kinky games, demos, and more!
  • 11:30 - 12: Lights on, clean up, everyone out!

ABOUT OUR HOST:

Lady V (she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator, community organizer & pro domina.

Using her background in film, Lady V is able to use the power of improv to switch on a dime. Prior, she served as the Program Manager for one of the few agencies in the world specializing in navigating sexuality & gender for people navigating intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Lady V has taught for conferences & sex positive venues across the US. She serves as an Advocacy Board Member for Sex Positive World & proudly helps facilitate their education as the Remote Education Coordinator. Lady V has also served the community by facilitating public health events.

She is an out, proud, & fierce-as-fire transwoman with a passion for empowering others. While hailing from Detroit, Michigan, she has settled in Salem, Oregon, with her Mistress in a 24/7 TPE where she serves as the majordomo for her leather family, the Atomic Army. Lady V considers herself both a lifestyle & professional switch. Any way the wind blows, it doesn’t really matter to her.

She hopes to inspire others to enjoy sex positivity from an authentic place, as well as embrace their spiritual place within sex positivity & find healing within it.

You can view more of her work at https://TheLadyV.Net or Fetlife at @‌The_Lady_V.

TICKETING:

Tickets: $30-$80 in advance or at the door. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford. We offer multiple price points, so that cost is less of a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $40. This is what most people should pay.

This event is an inclusive, queer, and sex-positive safe space.

LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY

We host our in-person events at our Clubhouse in the Historic Core of DTLA.

The building is ADA accessible. There is an elevator. Note for people with wheelchairs, canes, other walking assistance devices: the tile of the lobby floor is uneven so be careful navigating, and the bathroom is not ADA compliant.

This is a low-scent event: no perfume, cologne, or essential oils.

The Clubhouse is no-shoe space. When you enter, please leave your shoes on the shoe rack by the front door. If you need an exemption, please email accessibility@fwb.events.

COMMUNITY HEALTH & SAFETY

COVID, Cold, and Flu: We recommend all attendees test for COVID before you arrive. No need to send results - we trust you. If you are feeling sick, were recently exposed to someone who is sick, or test positive, we ask that you stay home to help us keep our community safe and healthy and we will credit you for a future event.

We provide face masks and hand sanitizer at the clubhouse. We run air purifiers during and between events. While we take all the precautions we can to be covid safe, this is ultimately an event with risk of infection. If you are higher risk of infection or adverse effects for covid or other illnesses, we encourage you to err on the side of caution.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

See full cancellation policy on the ticketing page.

We do not offer refunds if you cancel or change your reservation. In some cases, we do offer event credits.

We offer refunds if we cancel an event for any reason. We'll send out a cancellation email. Attendees who wish to receive a refund for their ticket purchase will need to respond within 7 days of the cancelled event. All other tickets will receive a credit for a future event.

SAFTEY IN DTLA

Please be mindful of your surroundings when arriving and leaving. Many of us are longtime downtown residents and have never personally had an issue walking around at night, but DTLA is full of interesting characters from all walks of life, especially on weekends. We love our community and ask that you're respectful of everyone you encounter.
