  Queer and trans people are timeless, ageless vampires. Because of this you sometimes have to get in the habit of asking “how old are you?” in the first beat of conversation. Sometimes it’s nice to do pickup play without worrying about age, and we decided to provide that for you with XXX

A play party for those aged 30 and up!

Not only does this party have the same name as a super cool Vin Diesel movie, it’s also queer and trans! Established in 2022, The Red Cathedral is a catholic themed Dungeon located in West Oakland CA and is run by Q/T Sex workers. It is the home of queer tea, which is a Monthly free gathering for queer and trans people (and a queer space that isn’t alcohol focused).

       This will also be Ryu’s birthday!! So come ready to celebrate ❤️‍🔥

Is this party queer? Trans? Both?

It’s both! The space is by and large centered around trans people, for this party anyone under the queer umbrella who is above the age of 30 is welcome to attend. We are not trans-medicalists, and believe if you feel called to be here, you belong.

Will there be snacks? Yes! The best snack table around!

Icebreaker: 8:30-9:30pm If you are attending alone or would like to connect more with people at the event you are strongly encouraged to attend. This is optional.

Accessibility:

There are two sets of stairs. Limited seating is available and can be reserved for people with disabilities. Incense is burned in the space, but any attendees who let us know in advance or night of that this is an issue for will be respected and we won’t burn any. For all things listed above please let us know in advance if possible.

This is a small space, it gets cozy. The venue max is 40 plus hosts and volunteers. As with most play parties, it can get challenging if you are noise sensitive. Earplugs will be available for this.

A limited number of sliding scale/free bipoc tickets are available! All taken case by case to ensure equal access for everyone. Volunteers might be needed but it is not a guarantee. Please reach out with any questions.

*Unfortunately, we have to implement a no refunds policy. We did not want to have to do this, but due to the nature of event organizing and a consistent pattern of people wanting to cancel at the last minute due to simply not feeling like it/being tired (we know this is simply how things are, and that people aren’t doing this on purpose nor do they realize the harm this can cause to small event promoters. We also acknowledge this is very different than Covid, which we take seriously), we are forced to enact this rule at this at this time.
