Join us for a raucous night at The Continental Club in what the East Bay Express has called "the most consistently spectacular event Oakland has ever seen"! Our December show roasts the holiday season in every way possible with a dark satirical exuberance, featuring guest appearances by a certain birthday Messiah, Kris Kringle, and Krampus, all performed by the most electrifying cast of characters you've ever seen in a live show!

The Ruckus and Revival is a legendary underground variety show filled with uncensored circus, stand up comedy, pole performers, aerialists, beat-boxing, slam poetry, burlesque, freestyle rap battles, break-dancing, dirty haiku bouts and audience interactive mayhem in one fast paced night of unfiltered entertainment.

Winner of multiple "Best of the Bay" awards, the SF Chronicle hails Ruckus as "a dazzling, inspiring and celebratory display of talent…a tent revival for misfits and freaks." Every show features a brand-new lineup, plus audience-judged rap battles and slam poetry competitions with $400 cash prizes up for grabs.

Where is the location?

The show will be at The Continental Club at 1658 12th St. in West Oakland. The venue is indoors with multiple floors, as well as a rooftop patio for smoking.

Is there parking?

Yes! There’s a free lot at 890 Campbell St., as well as street parking near 8th and Campbell. This is a residential neighborhood so please be respectful of the area! Don’t leave anything in your car, it’s Oakland.

What’s the age limit?

18+ to enter, 21 to drink. Please bring your ID.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, the venue has multiple full service bars that accept both cash and credit card.

Will there be food?

Yes! The Continental Club will be serving food throughout the night.

Is the venue ADA accessible?
