Advanced Negotiation for Shibari is designed for students who already have a foundation in rope and want to elevate their communication, attunement, and scene planning. This intermediate to advanced class dives into negotiation techniques tailored for personal shibari encounters, with a focus on assessing vibe, clarifying desire, and setting the emotional tone that will shape the entire experience. You will learn how to build a creative container that supports trust, artistry, and deeper connection. These tools help experienced players create richer scenes with new partners and also offer a structure for guiding less experienced bottoms who are still discovering their preferences. By learning how to illuminate possibilities and craft invitations with skill, you can set up scenes that feel intentional, supportive, and full of potential.

About the Instructor

Luke Wolfram has spent more than a decade immersed in the BDSM and rope community, bringing a broad range of experience shaped by both craftsmanship and hands-on exploration. He founded the leather bondage gear company House of Wolfram and entered the scene by traveling across the country as a vendor at major kink conventions. That work exposed him to a wide spectrum of BDSM cultures, play styles, and teaching lineages. Over the years he has taken hundreds of classes, studied with diverse educators, and built a perspective rooted in curiosity, adaptability, and respect for community traditions.

Luke operated House of Wolfram, and teaches in Portland, Oregon as well as at events such as Ropecraft, Kinkfest, and DomCon. His teaching style is conversational and intuitive, using a loose outline that lets him speak naturally while weaving in personal experience. This approach encourages dialogue, invites questions, and helps students engage with the material in a grounded and approachable way.
