Hope you had a wonderful and restful long weekend! We have a ton of fun announcements in this week's newsletter: from a poly festival we're partnering with in AZ to Bloom in Cosmo to highlighting events for the next couple of weeks. Enjoy! NYC friends: We're hiring! If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the Bloom Community grow in New York, email careers@joinbloom.community. BLOOM NEWS: Bloom in DatingNews
“We are a dating app, a social app, and an events app today. My hope is that over time, we can be a community resource and a place that you can come to for education” — Bloom CEO Luna Ray. The article features Bloom as an online dating experience that is community-oriented and inclusive of everyone :-)
BLOOM SPOTLIGHT: 2022 HUMP! Film Festival
HUMP! is a festival of short erotic films curated by sex-advice columnist Dan Savage. The films shown at HUMP! are always surprising — they can be hardcore, soft-core, comedic, serious, animated, musical — but all HUMP! films are made by real people, for real people. HUMP! features people of all ages, shapes, colors, kinks, genders, and sexual orientations, all united by their common humanity and a shared spirit of playful sex-positivity! HUMP! will turn you on. Come and get some! The film festival kicks off on Thurs Feb 24th and runs through Sat Mar 5th. See updates and coordinate meetups via the Bloom event chat below:
BLOOM SPOTLIGHT & MEETUP: Rocky Horror Circus
With a tight-wire Time Warp and high flying Columbia, this isn't your usual shadow-cast fare. It's not a film screening, it's a circus. Back for the first time since 2017, it's the Rocky Horror Circus Show: hotter, gayer, more experienced. Come dressed for a wild night, pants optional - masks required, and let us show you a weird time. We'll do the Time Warp again! The show is live Thursdays-Saturdays from March 3rd-March 19th, with a Bloom meetup happening at 7pm on Friday March 18th. Join below:
