Team culture

Culture is how we make decisions, how we treat each other, and what it feels like to walk into work every day

We focus on our members and event partners

We're chill and understanding while dedicated to getting the job done

We're collaborative and inclusive

We're driven and we take ownership; we never say “that’s not my job”

We do what matters

Anyone can be anyone’s mentor

Our Team

Jeremy Gillick

Founding Engineer

Jeremy is passionate about helping people meet more organically.

Before joining Plura, Jeremy was the Director of Engineering at StyleSeat where he helped double the engineering team in a year. He has led engineering teams at companies across the industry, such as LinkedIn, Google, Nest and PayPal. Outside of software engineering, Jeremy can usually be found building communities, tinkering with electronics, or preparing for the next Burning Man event.

Noa Elan

Noa has been building communities for as long as she could convince her parents to print out summer camp invitations in their office xerox machine.

Noa has been part of the non-monogamy community in Oakland for more than a decade and continues to learn as much as she can about psychological safety, power dynamics, consent best practices, and restorative justice.

Before Plura, Noa helped grow some of the biggest brands in the world, including Lyft, Adobe, Tide, Square, and more.

Rachel Lark

Head of Social

Rachel Lark has been a partner of Plura from the early days. If the sex+ culture had a movie, Rachel Lark would write and produce the soundtrack, with songs like The Unicorn Song and Didn’t See It Coming.

In 2023, Rachel Lark joined the Plura team and is leading our Social Media platform.
